For Whom?
This course is for Adults and Post-Leaving Certificate students and adults who wish to pursue a career in the Sport and Leisure Industry, people who have an interest in Sports Coaching and people who are interested in promoting active lifestyles.
The aim of this programme is to provide the learner with the skills, knowledge and competency to work in the Leisure; Health; Wellness and Fitness Industries.
Educational Progression:
Students can gain entry to a wide range of courses at various Technological Universities. There are reserved places in SETU for TCFE graduates. Students can also access the Higher Education links scheme.
Employability Statement
Graduates can access employment in the Leisure and Fitness industry in both the public and private sector. Work as Administrator, Supervisor, Gym Instructor, Organise Client Screening, fitness assessments, Exercise Programmes and Exercise Classes.
